Frances Turner, was formally trained as an artist, and works with traditional materials. Her subjects are of a very extreme nature, executed in thick impastos. The near life-sized depictions of physically challenged people, with fetish attire, gives an astounding look at what is possible in an individuals’ sexuality. Her drawings are equally so, possessing an ethereal beauty that can only be seen in person to be believed. Widely exhibited in Mexico & the UK, her first US solo exhibition was at
Art @ Large.
